You may be asking, what is she blown away by? Three things. Firstly, this cute bell sleeve knit set from March Eleven and secondly, since I live in, not only the friendly city but also the windy city, the wind has literally blown me away. In some of the attached pictures you will see my hair blowing in every direction and my eyes may be squinting from the wind blowing sand into them.
While I may have been blown away by the wind, I had quite some fun doing this shoot and even though I was getting a little cold, I was still really feeling myself in this outfit man.
About This Look:
As mentioned above, I got this shimmery gray knit set from March Eleven. Follow the link to their Instagram page to see all their cute items and give them a follow. I had been eyeing this knit set for a while and have been wanting to get in on the current bell sleeve trend. However, I kept looking for excuses, such as, “what if it’s too big?” I’m always skeptical about that because I’m not your average size small.
Eventually, I stopped looking for excuses not to buy it and told myself to just buy the damn set and I am not sorry that I did. I was also very lucky to receive the very last size small. I love that I can wear this outfit in summer or in winter and I don’t always have to pair the set together.
I paired the set with thigh high boots from Rubi Shoes. I did mention I was getting cold, but the trick with shorts, skirts or dresses and thigh high boots is to wear thigh high socks underneath the boots. That way, you have the socks and your boots keeping your legs warm.
So I was already feeling myself in my awesome outfit and then Dilshaad Adams from Metallic Make up Artistry blessed my face with her amazing make up skills and that is the third thing that blew me away. We decided to go with a smokey eye to match my shimmery outfit and a purple lippy to add that extra spice.
I wanted an open neckline for the looks, so I did a high bun with tassel earrings from Gypsy Diaries.
I hope you like this look as much as I do. Leave a comment and let me know what you think.
Until next time.
