Summer is soon coming to an end but it seems the bright colours are here to stay. I’ve seen quite a few stores stocking their Autumn/Winter range in the same bright colours I’ve seen throughout summer. One of my favourites is yellow. I’ve never really been the biggest fan of yellow but recently I’m loving it. I’m looking forward to wearing my yellow jersey in winter. I’ve also seen a yellow puffer jacket at Mr Price, they have them in red, black and yellow. But I’m still torn between getting a red one or a yellow one.
When I saw this top at Legit I felt like I had to have it. It can be dressed up or down and I like the colour with my skin tone. Since purchasing this top, I have been looking at different items in shades of yellow, not only in terms of clothing or shoes, but even for around the house. Yellow scatter cushions look so great on a blue or grey couch or bed.
I decided to go casual with this outfit and paired the top with jeans and a fringe pair of heels. This is my “Let’s go for lunch look”. Nothing is over the top but it still looks like you’ve put the effort in. Because I’ve mostly been rocking curls lately, I’ve been super into my big gold hoops from The Fix. It is my new go to accessory. My make up was done by Mishka Amod for this look. I like the neutral shades on both my eyes and my lip. My look didn’t need anything over dramatic because I felt like my bright top was making enough of a bold statement.
How do you feel about bright colours in Autumn/Winter? Also, should I get the red or yellow puffer jacket? Let me know.
