Hello and welcome to my new site! Yay!
So I’m finally ready to do this the right way and move away from the free site to do my own thing. I’m really excited about this, in fact, I’m excited about many other new adventures I’m planning in my life.
Anyway, most of you may not know I recently celebrated my 23rd birthday. I know what’s going through your mind “What!? She’s too small to be 23!” But yes, it’s very true.
So I thought I’d do a birthday outfit look for my next post. Alas, I stumbled upon the long weekend and got too caught up in the weekend-away shenanigans to plan a proper shoot and outfit. So unfortunately there’s no outfit post this time.
HOWEVER, I like to think I’m a beauty and style blogger, so I’ve decided to share with you, my birthday make up look!
I wanted to be a bit adventurous with my make up because I was dressed down in a black and white outfit, plus I just wanted to look a little fab on my birthday, without going all out. So I decided to go with a maroon eye and a dark lip.
I had to take advantage of the really good lighting so that you could see the pigment.
Okay, so I didn’t use an actual foundation but below are the details on what I used create this look:
Conceler: Mac studio finish concealer in NW35
Tinted Powder: Mac studio fix powder in NC43
Contour: Essence all about nudes eyeshadow palette
Highlight: Catrice deluxe glow highlighter palette and Swiitch Beauty’s Slays For Days eyeshadow palette
Brows: Essence make me brow eyebrow gel mascara in browny brows and Swiitch Beauty’s Slays For Days dark brown to set it
Eyeshadow: My absolute favourite Swiitch Beauty’s Slays For Days (you may have noticed I’m a bit obsessed)
Mascara: Estee Lauder Sumptous Extreme in extreme black
Blush: Bourjois Paris blush in Rose Ambré
Lipstick: Huda Beauty Liquid Matt lipstick in Vixen.
Setting Spray: Mac Studio Moisture Fix setting spray
