Summer is officially over and the autumn leaves are falling. But before we say goodbye to summer days completely, here’s one last post in my favourite summer dress.
The off the shoulder trend is one that I, personally, love. Because it opens the neckline, it lengthens my neck and I appear a bit taller, which is usually what us littlies want. The only thing that annoys me about the off the shoulder items is that the sleeves somehow ride up and I end up looking quite silly and constantly having to pull them down again. But what I love most about this dress is that one can dress it up or down, you can wear it to the beach or when you’re going out for dinner.
I’ve paired the dress with a brown felt hat and a pair of tan heels. I’ve always felt that shades of brown, paired with light washed denim, works well together with any items of clothing, be it jeans, skirts or dresses.
Although these heels are tan, they are very close to my skin color, which makes them nude heels for me and lengthens my legs.
For a pop of colour, I’ve added a pair of turquoise tassel earrings fromĀ Gypsy Diaries DIY. TasselĀ earrings are a fab way to make a statement without overdoing your accessories.
