I’ve never been one to celebrate Valentines day, this year however, my gift to you is this blog post, and more to come. I have had a deep and meaningful conversation with myself(in my head of course), that I would post more frequently on both my blog and YouTube channel and I’ve set personal  that I intend to stick to.

So even though we don’t celebrate Valentines day, I decided I would do a valentines day look. This look can also be duplicated for a date night or another special occasion.

 
About the look

Because romance is associated with the colours red and pink and there’s generally flowers and chocolates involved, I decided I would wear a light pink floral slip dress. This is the dress from my December haul video that I couldn’t wait to get onto my body and thought this would be the perfect opportunity. I paired the dress with my favourite San Sebastian heels from Rubi shoes at Cotton On. If I could I would buy them in every colour! These are possibly the most comfortable shoes in my wardrobe. 

My make up was done by the amazing Mishka Amod. We went for a nude pink lip to compliment the dress and a beautifully blended mixture of browns on my eyes. Also, I am officially the biggest fan of bushy brows thanks to Mishka. Do you like bushy brows or prefer perfectly shaped brows?

As you may know, I have decided to go natural. My hair hasn’t seen heat in over a month and I’m really loving the look of my curls. Now and then I still miss the straight hair but I definitely enjoy playing around with different curly hairstyles. For this look I did a side sweep with twists on the left side. Opening the side of my face also lengthens my neck to appear taller and shows of my earrings.
