Long Story Short

It’s no secret that I’m a petite young woman, I’m only 1.49m tall, I take size 2/3 shoes and my body is rather tiny too. That been said, it’s not always the easiest task to go shopping and find items that I not only like but items that also fit me. I’m sure I’m not the only littly that has this problem. Therefore, long story short, I have decided to dedicate more posts to my style journey for the littlies.

I love being short. There are so many perks that come with it, like always having leg room, literally everywhere! However, when I can’t reach the top shelf or see if my hair looks okay in the bathroom mirror, I always find myself mumbling “I wish I was a little bit taller”.

So I have a small secret, I buy so many of my clothing in the teen department or from a kids store to mix and match. My favourite store has got to be Soda Bloc. They have items that are on trend and their sizing fits me perfect. Many of my friends have asked about the items I buy from there and get a little upset that they only go up to size 32. Also, that’s a kids size 32. I buy most of my jeans from Soda Bloc and the skirt from this post is also from there.

We all want to look like we’ve got legs for days, so to achieve the longer legged look the skirt is quite short in length. Showing more leg makes it look like you have more leg.

Bodysuits are also on trend so I’ve paired the skirt with a navy bodysuit from factorie.
